🎧BJHH: 157 - Don't Hassle the Hoff('s Medicals)
PLUS: Year of the Roki?, Vlad talk, a Manoah update, and more!
Your paid support makes independent, thoughtful, grass-fed, naturally raised, free range coverage of Toronto Blue Jays baseball possible. Thank you.
Jeff Hoffman is the Blue Jays new closer, but not after a couple of failed physicals elsewhere—potentially an odd choice given that medicals seemed to be a big part of the rationale for the club parting ways with the popular Jordan Romano.
PLUS: Roki Sasaki's decision seems to be imminent, and as of the time of this recording the Jays hadn't been ruled out of the running for the man with the “Japanese-style delivery.”
Also this week: Vlad stuff, another Jays swing-and-a-miss on Corbin Burnes, an Alek Manoah update, and more!

Oh, and don’t forget that paid subscribers still have time to leave a question in the comments of my previous post for me to answer in this week’s mail bag!

Good to see this throwback to the DJF days. I was actually going to post a question to your mailbag along the lines 'Is there any hassling the Hoff?'
