Blue Jays Happy Hour - Ep. 20: Seeing what sticks
Just a quick one to give you the details about Thursday's podcast, and where you can find us if you missed it live. Plus a link to my appearance this week on Tall Can Audio!
The Blue Jays have had a rough week, following up a brutal series with the Rays by struggling against the worst team in baseball. Wednesday’s 2-1 victory in Oakland has hopefully set things right, and the boisterous pro-Jays crowd expected in Seattle this weekend should help. But they still need pitching reinforcements badly — a situation they’re acknowledging by repeatedly working the waiver wire for other team’s cast-offs. And with the trade deadline approaching, the clock is ticking.
In this episode, Nick and I talked about all that, plus Alek Manoah, José Berríos, Raimel Tapia, Andrew Benintendi, Alejandro Kirk, and more!
Be sure to get the Callin app and follow us so you can tune in live when we’re back at it at the conclusion of Sunday’s finale with the Mariners (4:10 PM ET first pitch).
And for those that couldn’t catch us live during this one, you can listen to the show on the podcast app of your choice! Including…

Hey, and if for some reason you haven’t heard enough of me after that, on Wednesday afternoon I had a couple of tall cans and joined my pal Matt Robinson for the latest episode of Tall Can Audio — during which we talked about all things Blue Jays, but especially my piece this week about the lessons of 2015 and 2016. Check it out!
