It would be great if sports fandom and ethical beliefs didn’t seem like polar opposites. If every $ we spend is a vote for our beliefs, supporting the shitty billionaire owners of my favourite sports teams is constantly a poor expression of mine...
People are more than one thing, and social media has widened divisions in a lot of ways, making people of different worldviews dig in and antagonize each other more, much to the detriment of decent public discourse. That said, Trump is an exception. It's pretty fucking binary. Supporting Trump and being something resembling a decent person are completely contradictory. He's an abhorrent, ignorant, bigot with no personal code other than his own enrichment. That he's duped so many people into his cult of personality is stunning. He's made making strawmen of the right completely redundant because he made the most absurd, farcical, unbelievable, version of it actually come to life (and given where the right was *before* 2016, that's saying something). Rogers deserves every bit of scorn he gets for this. And while I suppose it's secondary in all this, it's a pretty unbelievable act of stupidity for people with at least some degree of intelligence and awareness to snap a picture of themselves with Donald Trump and to broadcast it on social media.
This is why i subscribe 🙏
Special way to end the night? Did Trump grab Suzanne’s... oh never mind.
Bumblefuck Eddie living up to his name.
How dumb are they?! Keep your photo with that piece of orange garbage private and only share it when you need impress other dipshits.

Every year I struggle more and more with this.
Good to have you back Andrew.
Wish I could say that this was surprising...
