That booing was hilarious. Keep it going Toronto, I want him booed right out of town.

I was at that game and was so fully checked out by the 8th I didn't even notice Bass was on the mound until I heard all the jeers.

Manoah's struggles are tough to watch, both in his play and how hard it's obviously been on him. I don't have anything to add in terms of specifics or mechanics, but it's hard to see it turning around in short order and not sure what the solution to that is. Maybe some good ol'fashioned right arm fatigue can get him away from the glow of it all every fifth day and they can find a fix. As for Bass, he's an idiot and they should cut their ties with him. Obviously it's infinitely easier to do with someone who's closer to the bottom of the roster than the top, but that doesn't mean it still can't be done regardless of the inherent hypocrisy (of all of us, really) in easier moral stands being more palatable than the difficult ones. Interesting that they had Schneider speak to it all. Thought he did fine and probably comes across as more authentic than Atkins (not insinuating anything about Ross and his beliefs, but his communications style isn't always a great fit in moments requiring a bit of a personal touch).

Overall, it's been a tough few weeks at an inopportune time given some of the opponents were in the division, but hopefully they can get on a bit of a run and not let the WC race get too far away from them (it's never too early when you're looking up at really good teams)

How much do I love Joe Siddall in the booth?

The answer is lots...I love it lots.

I am looking at numbers, and unless I am doing it wrong, it seems as if the Blue Jays starting pitching is terrible in the first inning compared to 2-9. This makes me want to experiment with an opener. Thoughts?

Manoah mechanics - all these people up picking up differences - surely the team is blatantly aware more than anybody of any mechanical differences and have been from Day 1 this season?

It was a much lesser offence given the context, but Kevin Pillar responded in a MUCH different way than Bass has - and remained a beloved player ultimately. Can't see that happening to Bass somehow. Oh and thanks for blowing the lead against Seattle last year. Thanks for flying United.
