Sorry, hard no on blowing off the Kiermaier thing. We seem to keep slipping into moral quicksand on the issue of sportsmanship these days. This is low by both Keirmaier and the Rays as a whole. Next you'll be saying it's just fine to have camera's trained on the opposing team's dugout for your home games. Which, by the way the Rays were swinging this series, or rather, not swinging, I get the sneaking suspicion something like this is already happening. As far as I'm concerned the Rays rate just barely above the Astros now.

Couple of thoughts. First, I don't blame Kiermaier at all for doing that. Who wouldn't? I think it was awesome! Second, it's such a tight race that we could potentially win two series against Tampa and still lose ground to Boston in that time. Finally, the last series Tampa plays against is against New York. If it's still neck and neck between us and the Yanks at the beginning of that series, who do you think Tampa would want to see make that final wild card spot (assuming Boston gets the first)?
