For Nick Ashbourne's clip about Kirk I get 'No video with supported format and MIME type found'. (Clicking on the retweet gets me the clip, but perhaps you have a typo?' or is substack interacting with twitter in a strange way?)
Thanks for letting me know, it’s definitely a Substack/Twitter thing. I wish it would just play the videos regardless of whether someone’s looking at it in the email or the browser, but alas it does not. That’s why I generally prefer the GIFs, but I’m working on the GO Train right now so that wasn’t an option haha. When I click the clip in chrome on my phone it works though, so I’m not sure why you got an error there (and am limited in the ways I can figure it out from here).
So, I fired up Chrome, and it plays fine for me there. But I was using firefox, which is what I normally use, and there I still have a problem. So a firefox/substack problem?
