I've found the thumb saga to be so annoying, but his start was so good to see. If he could give us even just average starts for 6 innings that would be huge. If Max and Lauer turn out to be still functioning prior to the trade deadline - do you think they would still try and pick up another starter? Or maybe wait and see if Manoah becomes the 2015 version of Marcus Stroman in September. Either way - it could allow them to go to a 6 man rotation leading into the playoffs - assuming we were still in contention then. Might give the starters some extra rest.
