The Jays, by all accounts, are still very much in on Brantley, but Hazel tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that a Jays official has refuted her report, and several national trade-breaker types are saying a deal is still possible and discussions are ongoing, but nothing is done. This could have something to do with the medical — Brantley’s injury history means a medical isn’t just a formality,

Wowza - we are about to see some serious transformation of this roster. No way they can keep everyone. (Does Rowdy have options left? In theory you could stash him. But that would SUUUUCCKKK for him...) And he's one of the few other LH bats... Vlad really has to hold up as a competent fielder for the foreseeable future, cuz' Brantley will need to DH in the latter parts of this deal.
