The storm clouds have been gathering and thunderheads are looming over the next two series. If things go badly, there's going to be a torrent of Jays fans angst unleashed! Probably from me. Call it early, but these series are absolutely crucial. We need to fix our pitching, or at least come up with some compression bandages pretty soon. Call up Tiedemann!

Lol. I mean, you're not wrong that people will probably start to lose it if things don't go well. They're not unimportant series, but I do think the three months of baseball that will follow them is probably quite a bit more important.

Ah yes, this is true, but I'm just priming you for the Fire Shatkins tsunami that's also coming.

I try not to antagonize those types that hate hearing "it's early" too much anymore but the Jays could make that difficult for me with an ugly week!

I don't understand why we can't send Kikuchi for a long rehab session in the minors, so if you get that figured out, please explain it to us, thanks.

I don't know exactly how the phantom injury thing works, because teams obviously don't reveal such details, but club physicians do have to sign off on any injured list placement. And players can't be sent on minor league rehab assignments without their consent.

Basically, if he doesn't want to go ride the bus in Buffalo or hang out in Dunedin — and he said after Saturday's game he feels healthy — they can't make him.
