It wouldn’t be the worst thing for the Jays to offer a QO to Chapman. If he refuses, then you get an extra pick. If he accepts, then it’s just one year at $20.5, not 5 years at $30 per. I’m in the offer a QO camp, hoping he refuses.
As for Buck, I would not be surprised if this is his last season in the booth....so let's get down on one knee and savor the experience. I'll miss him.
I've loved listening to Buck over the years but yeah, he's lost his edge. Lot of slurred words, repeating exactly what Dan just said, trotting out the same few thoughts. I'll miss him too, but I think I would have missed him more if he'd retired after last year and just done five or six broadcasts this year.
The Dan and Joe booth has been quite good, I'm looking forward to more of that.

There needs to be a promotional 'Bring a Pillow' night next time Kikuchzzz pitches at home.
